Regions Bank is seeking a Database Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and run database reports using report-writing tools based on end-user requirements in Birmingham, AL. The role emphasizes data management, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will own reporting processes, support research teams, and provide actionable metrics while following established guidelines and using SQL/SAS skills to drive improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Business Admin, or related field and five (5) years of reporting and/or data management experience.
• Or High School Diploma and nine (9) years of reporting and/or data management experience.

Job Description

At Regions, the Database Reporting Analyst creates, designs, and runs database reports using report writing tools based on end-user needs.

• Owns regular reporting and process administration
• Collaborates with various function teams to achieve business results
• Adheres to the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Applies creativity and latitude as applicable

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and five (5) years of reporting and/or data management experience
• Or High School Diploma and nine (9) years of reporting and/or data management experience

Preferences

• Advanced degree (i.e., Master of Business Administration) or professional designation
• Certified in Structured Query Language (SQL), Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and other various Microsoft programs

Skills and Competencies

• Advanced computer skills

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• General business knowledge
• Working knowledge of SQL and is proficient in data manipulation and extraction techniques

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
