Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking an Accounting Analyst to prepare accurate financial reporting, including monthly and quarterly submissions, and drive process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least three years of reporting/analytical experience; MBA and CPA are preferred. Onsite in Birmingham, with standard in-office requirements and a focus on accuracy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field.
• Three (3) years in public accounting or industry with reporting, policy, or financial analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management.
• Contributes to process improvements and makes recommendations on occasion.
• Researches and responds to technical accounting inquiries from our business partners.
• Analyzes and resolves problems using prescribed guidelines or policies.
• Completes ad-hoc reporting or other special projects as they arise.
• May act as a resource for associates with less experience.
• Creates and maintains databases, documentation, and data in a meaningful format.
• Works independently and receives minimal guidance.
