Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Analytics Program Manager to own the analytics backbone for a large energy and power planning function.

You will manage large datasets across hundreds to thousands of sites, translating raw data into decisions and building tracking infrastructure the team runs on. This role focuses on data modeling, risk tracking, and executive reporting to align cross-functional teams from PMO, Finance, Capital Management, Pre-Construction, and Construction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data-heavy role managing large, multi-variable datasets across complex portfolios.
• PMP certification or equivalent to structure ambiguity, not just schedules.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets and hands-on BI tool experience (Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight, or similar).
• SQL proficiency; Python a strong plus.
• Proven ability to build centralized tracking and reporting infrastructure from scratch across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience in capital-intensive industries (energy, utilities, infrastructure, real estate, or logistics) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work backward from a messy data landscape and build scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain centralized trackers spanning the full site lifecycle across hundreds to thousands of locations.
• Build and manage data models that integrate inputs from multiple sources into a single source of truth.
• Design and stand up risk tracking frameworks embedding due diligence outputs into PMO and capital workflows.
• Produce executive-level reporting and dashboards showing portfolio risk, cost variance, and milestone status.
• Identify data gaps and process breakdowns; build trackers, playbooks, and escalation frameworks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure utility infrastructure and interconnect costs flow into budgets.
• Drive automation opportunities across high-frequency data workflows and define tooling requirements.
