Job summary

Vanguard is launching a Technology Leadership Program in Data Analytics, designed to cultivate IT leaders through three eight-month rotations and hands-on analytics projects. You will transform data into insights that inform strategy, improve operations, and enhance client experiences, while building collaboration, influence, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or relevant advanced degree in Data & Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative or analytical field
• Strong interest in using data to solve business problems and influence decisions
• Familiarity with analytical tools or technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI)
• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover insights that support business decisions
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key trends and outcomes
• Partner with business and technology teams to understand needs and translate them into analytical solutions
• Apply data management and governance principles to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Use tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and cloud-based platforms to support analytics work
• Deliver insights that influence business strategy and improve client and operational outcomes
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to delivering high-impact results
• Collaborate across teams, share insights, and drive solutions in a supportive environment
• Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers
• Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship
