Job summary

Qualifications

• Freshman or sophomore student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Risk Management, Financial Reporting, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (verified through transcript).
• Current enrollment in a college or university.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and intermediate Excel experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be available to participate in Insure Your Future leadership development/networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to underwriting and actuarial functions of the business.
• Learn to analyze data to support business units and projects.
• Develop approaches, use data query, calculation and reporting tools.
• Learn how the Underwriting and Actuarial team uses data to improve health outcomes and services.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and complete high-quality projects.
