Job summary

Delta Dental of Missouri is seeking an Actuarial Intern to gain hands-on experience in actuarial, underwriting, and analytics projects. This part-time internship (3–6 months) blends home and office work in Missouri.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completed bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial, quantitative, or business.
  • A passing score on 1 or more SOA exams preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to perform detailed calculations and independently solve complex problems.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated with a strong interest in learning new skills and tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
