H&R Block, Inc. invites you to join the Embark 2027 Summer Internship in Kansas City. This 11-week, paid program targets students in Finance, Economics, and Data Analytics, offering real-world experience at our downtown KC headquarters.

You will work with the Financial Services product team, develop financial models, analyze data, and present insights to leaders. Housing stipends are provided for eligible students, with PTO during Reboot Week and on-site amenities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or similar with GPA 3.0+.
• Strong analytical, research and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize complex information and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to support strategic and product decisions in Financial Services.
• Analyze customer, market, competitive, and financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop financial and analytical models to measure customer value and engagement.
• Evaluate metrics and data gaps; translate insights into recommendations for leadership.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Analytics, and cross-functional teams on initiatives.
• Synthesize research into presentations and models for leadership.
• Gain exposure to real-world business decisions with mentorship and increasing ownership.
