Job summary

Emerson is seeking a data analytics co-op to assist in designing test systems and data architectures. You will help develop automated routines for data collection and pre-processing, and collaborate with research teams to perform exploratory analytics, identifying trends and features.

You will contribute to roadmap planning and support agile teams in improving AI models, while creating reports to drive efficiency and presenting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• SQL and Python skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing test systems, data architecture, and data analytics from control processes.
• Develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks in preparation for analysis.
• Collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics, identifying trends and data features.
• Contribute to planning & road mapping new features and functionality.
• Support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models.
• Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives.
• Document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams.
• Assist with other project activities as assigned
