Job summary

Emerson is seeking a student for a hands-on data analytics co-op role. You will assist in designing test systems, data architecture, and analytics from control processes, and you will develop automated data collection routines for analysis.

Collaboration with research and data science teams is essential to identify trends and features. You will contribute to planning new features, support agile teams in improving AI models, and create reports to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• SQL and Python skills and experience.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related engineering or science field
• SQL and Python skills and experience
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Junior or Senior Standing
• C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills
• Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools
