Job summary

Emerson in Marshalltown, IA invites a co-op data analytics student to help design data architecture and organize data from manufacturing and service partners. You will develop automation for data collection, pre-processing, and data integrity checks to enable analysis.

Work with research teams to explore data features and trends, contribute to feature roadmaps, and support agile teams building AI models. On-site facilities and a structured co-op program support your growth.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related field.
• Experience with SQL and Python.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience with SQL and Python

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Junior or Senior class standing
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills desired
• Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools are a plus
