Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead the DATM team, shaping data architecture and analytics across the QMA function. You will collaborate with sector leaders to deploy scalable pipelines, ETL, and dashboards for informed decision making.

The role requires a strong background in data engineering, SQL, and Tableau, with proven leadership of cross-functional teams and experience in agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; 8+ years data engineering or 6+ years with Master’s; or 12+ years with no degree.
• 2 years as a technical leader of product development teams delivering customer-driven products.
• Strong ability to present complex analytics across varied audiences.
• Experience with large scale distributed software and agile development.
• Experience developing product visions and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Data strategy to support the QMA Strategy.
• Lead DATM activities aligned to the QMA Strategy.
• Drive adoption of data analysis methodologies across sector for performance.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities; provide recommendations.
• Engage with sector leaders to understand operational issues and develop solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks.
