Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation is seeking a Data and Analytics Analyst to transform data for operational and decision-making purposes. You will work with senior analysts to gather insights for leaders to drive data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include building reports and dashboards with Power BI, SQL, and Excel, ensuring data quality, and aligning with data governance standards across the organization. Onsite role with structured delivery expectations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field
• Or, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field and two years of experience in a data analytics or related role
• Experience with SQL, SAS, and BI tools is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing reports valuable, readable, and presentable to stakeholders
• Prepares visual reports/presentations for management
• Interprets and analyzes data to provide insights for operational impact and trends
• Performs data analysis to help achieve data automation
• Creates and maintains databases to classify and store information
• Completes day-to-day deliverables and ad-hoc data reports
• Performs data audits and data quality management
• Monitors data analytics trends and identifies improvement opportunities
• Partners with Data Governance to implement data quality requirements
• Develops, maintains, and analyzes reports, dashboards, and business insights using Power BI, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Monitors and improves data quality and ensures compliance with governance policies
