Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Data and Analytics Analyst to transform data into actionable insights for operations and decision-making. You will collaborate with senior analysts and managers to gather requirements and deliver analyses that drive data-driven decisions.

In addition to exporting and interpreting data, you will develop readable reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses, ensuring data quality while supporting continuous improvement and governance across the data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or Statistics with two years of data analytics experience.
• Or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields with four years of data analytics or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Modifies reports to be readable and presentable to stakeholders.
• Prepares visual reports/presentations for management.
• Interprets data to identify trends and opportunities for leaders.
• Performs data analysis to help achieve data automation.
• Creates and maintains databases to classify and store information.
• Delivers day-to-day reports and ad-hoc data requests.
• Ensures quality data audits, mining and data governance support.
• Monitors analytics trends and seeks improvement opportunities.
• May mentor junior analysts and provide training.
• Partners with Data Governance to meet data quality requirements.
