Job summary

Regions is seeking a Data and Analytics Analyst to transform data into meaningful formats for operational and decision-making use. The role focuses on day-to-day deliverables, collaborating with senior analysts and managers to gather and interpret data for leaders.

You will modify and prepare readable reports, provide insights on trends, and support data automation and governance initiatives while delivering ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with several years of data analytics experience
• Experience in data analytics roles with strong data interpretation and reporting skills
• Proficiency with SQL and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)

Responsibilities

• Modify and improve reports for readability and impact
• Prepare visual reports and presentations for management
• Interpret data to identify trends and operational opportunities
• Perform data analysis to enable data automation
• Create and maintain databases for data organization
• Deliver day-to-day data reports and ad-hoc analyses
• Audit data quality and ensure governance across data assets
• Monitor analytics trends and suggest improvements
• Mentor junior analysts as needed
• Collaborate with Data Governance to uphold data quality
