Job summary

Labcorp is hiring for a senior data engineering leadership role in North Carolina. You will lead architecture reviews, govern enterprise data, analytics, and AI initiatives while partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Responsibilities include end-to-end delivery oversight, guidance on cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS), and establishing best practices for data governance, quality, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics, or related tech domains.
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams, including performance management, coaching, and talent development.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics.
• 5+ years of experience with database administration, application programming, SQL development on multiple platforms, and report development/generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design, architecture reviews, and governance for enterprise data, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of enterprise solutions with focus on quality, security, and scalability.
• Guide teams in modern cloud-based data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and related services.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data engineering, governance, quality, security, and operations.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered engineering tools and AI-DLC practices across the lifecycle.
