Qualifications

• Terminal degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Science and AI.
• Legal status to teach in the country of application.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty bring pre-built curriculum to life through real-world expertise and mentorship.
• Maintain an active classroom presence at least 5 days per week and engage students.
• Bridge theory and practice with professional expertise and real-world examples.
• Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive learning environment.
• Respond to inquiries, provide feedback, and post final grades within the timeframe.
• Monitor progress and conduct proactive outreach to at-risk students.
• Collaborate with success coaches, academic staff, and portfolio directors to refer students to UMGC support resources.
• Participate in UMGC's faculty community and ongoing training.
