Job summary

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach in the Data Analytics, Master of Science program at Pearl City, HI. The role focuses on online higher education delivery with engagement in project-based learning and current subject-matter expertise.

Qualifications

Experience teaching within online higher education settings.
3-5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
Terminal degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.

Responsibilities

Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed.
Guide students in active collaboration and application of learning in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations.
Provide rich and regular constructive feedback using rubrics to assess student work.
