Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Data Analyst to organize, analyze, and distribute data to staff and partners. The role supports internal analysis, grant reporting, and advocacy efforts.

The analyst will prepare data for analysis, build reports, fulfill data requests, and document processes to ensure quality. Collaboration with the Data Manager and teams is essential to improve data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of professional data experience preferred.
• Experience cleaning and preparing data with Python, SQL, or R preferred.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work with agency teams in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and organize data for analysis across multiple systems.
• Build and maintain reports that deliver timely, accurate information.
• Fulfill and track data requests from teams across the organization.
• Partner with teams to support data needs and plan accordingly.
• Document data processes, reports, and workflows for consistency.
• Identify opportunities to improve data storage, distribution, and analysis.
• Receive supervision from the Data Manager to review tasks.
• Perform other duties assigned by Data Manager or designee.
