Job summary

PlanetArt is seeking a talented Data Analyst for the Operations & Supply Chain team. This remote, work-from-home role focuses on using data to drive business decisions, improve customer experience, and reduce costs across a global fulfillment network for multiple brands and 3PL partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Excel skills, understanding of COGS, carrier spend, and vendor pricing in a large-scale e-commerce setting, with a proactive approach to validation and process

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years experience with advanced Excel (pivot, lookups, Power Query).
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
• Knowledge of COGS, freight, or vendor pricing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day invoice validation and reconciliation across multiple vendors.
• Use error reporting to identify pricing discrepancies, missing mappings, and invoice issues.
• Investigate invoice variances and document findings clearly.
• Maintain vendor pricing documentation and source-of-truth references in Confluence.
• Work with Operations, Finance, and internal teams on pricing, billing, and validation questions.
• Take on repeatable validation work as processes standardize.
• Learn to interpret reporting outputs and apply them to invoice reconciliation.
• Support continuous improvement by documenting recurring issues and refining SOPs.
