Calculated Hire is seeking a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst to support inventory, replenishment, forecasting, and logistics for a Fortune 50 retail client. This remote role emphasizes building dashboards and data-driven recommendations to improve stock availability and cost efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in supply chain or analytics, strong SQL and Excel skills, and experience with Tableau.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Information Management, Business, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, inventory, replenishment, logistics, operations, or data analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and develop data-driven recommendations.
Experience analyzing supply chain, inventory, replenishment, or logistics data.
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other data analysis functions.

Responsibilities

Analyze inventory, replenishment, forecasting, transportation, warehousing, and distribution data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Support development and enhancement of forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics decision processes.
Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and KPI reporting to provide visibility into inventory and replenishment performance.
Monitor key inventory metrics and investigate variances, trends, and exceptions; communicate findings and actions to stakeholders.
Support day-to-day replenishment activities and respond to questions related to inventory availability and replenishment.
Develop analytical tools and reporting that improve visibility into inventory levels, product flow, demand, and replenishment performance.
Develop financial models and decision-support tools to evaluate inventory cost/benefit tradeoffs.
