Job summary

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Data Analyst to turn data into actionable insights. You will pull, validate, and model data from MSSQL and Oracle sources, build queries, and deliver timely reports to business units to support performance, compliance, and strategy.

Collaborate with owners and SMEs, manage ETL issues, and test datasets with tools like SAP Web Intelligence, SSRS, Tableau, and Web Intelligence.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in SQL programming, data transformation, and database reporting using reporting tools such as SAP Web Intelligence, Microsoft SSRS, or Tableau
• 4 year college degree with major in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience using SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle SQL Developer
• Ability to write complex queries using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including multi-table joins, CTEs, and analytical functions
• Understanding of relational database design and dimensional data models
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and business staff
• Ability to present information and relevant summaries to all levels of the organization
• Experience using Visual Studio/SSIS preferred but not required
• Previous financial services experience desired but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, complex, and timely reports to all business units across the organization
• Work with business owners and SMEs on data requirements and validation
• Build queries to extract and transform data with Oracle SQL Developer and MS SQL Server Management Studio
• Create and test datasets and reports using Business Objects Web Intelligence
• Validate data, procedures, and processes with stakeholders
• Troubleshoot SSIS and other ETL related problems
• Manage code changes using version control and participate in peer code reviews
• Manage a pipeline of open requests and deliver results on time
• Assist with projects that include a data or reporting component
