The Role

Khan Academy is seeking a Data Analyst to support our Districts team. You will enable data-driven decisions by creating reports, dashboards, and insights that impact our organization. Your focus will be on business intelligence, custom reporting & analytics, and data management.

What You'll Do

Business Intelligence

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and KPIs.

Custom Reporting & Analytics

• Work with district stakeholders to deliver tailored reports.
• Create ad hoc queries to answer specific questions.
• Translate complex data into clear presentations for non-technical audiences.

Data Management

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve data quality.
• Follow data governance policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Business Intelligence Analyst, preferably in edtech or B2B.
• Proficiency in SQL and handling large datasets.
• Experience with data models and BI tools like Looker.
• Knowledge of data management tools and practices.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical data.
