SH -1100 - Data Analyst
Position Overview
The Data Analyst II will support a statewide workforce training and certification program in transforming learning management, program database, and service desk data into accurate, reliable reporting for program leadership and the client. This position will connect program leadership, the development team, system owners, and vendors to ensure data flows correctly from source systems into recurring and ad hoc reports. The analyst will produce monthly and periodic reports, reconcile figures across systems, verify automated data processes, and maintain the documentation and quality control standards behind every deliverable. Early responsibilities include learning the program's recurring reports and validating how each reported metric is calculated. The ideal candidate can navigate multiple data systems, identify where they disagree, trace discrepancies to their source, and explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Documentation
- Maintain the data dictionary, report methods, and a change log.
- Flag unclear metric definitions and get sign-off before reporting.
