Capgemini is hiring a Data Analyst to support payment hardware and software, working across payment terminals, vendors, and cross-functional teams in an onsite contract role in Boston.

Responsibilities

• Review debug logs and datasets to isolate root cause and coordinate fixes with vendors as needed.
• Support troubleshooting for payment terminal tools and payment-related issues tied to payment hardware/software.
• Occasionally assist with configuring, deploying, supporting, and improving payment solutions and hardware for Dunkin and Baskin-Robbins brands.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including processes, workarounds, and newly implemented solutions.
• Update and maintain a knowledge base to reflect changes and operational learnings.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on issues and priorities.
• Partner with vendor and product teams to complete and enhance integration efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure stability across the estate and support timely resolution of escalations, especially during integration pilot phases.
• Communicate issues, status updates, action items, and risks to the management team.

Requirements

• Strong experience working with Verifone payment terminals and tools (experience with VHQ is a plus).
• Experience in Hospitality and the Payment domain.
• 3+ years working experience supporting payment hardware/software.
• Experience or familiarity leveraging/managing AI tools; the role will heavily utilize CoPilot.
• Technical knowledge of payment integration with POS and Web & Mobile solutions, including mobile and cloud-based technologies (example: Azure).
• Familiarity with payment instruments such as credit/debit cards, including rules and regulations, plus credit card tokenization processes.
• 2+ years experience consulting with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis, trend identification, data research and analysis, and issue resolution, including interpreting policies/procedures/laws/regulations.
• Experience negotiating with payment processors (example: Fiserv is a plus).
• Strong technical problem-solving skills with ability to adapt quickly and acknowledge/own issues.
• Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including communicating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to self-start, plan next steps independently, and respond promptly to maintain open and timely communication.
• Experience with large-scale implementation of applications, infrastructure, or databases related to restaurant operations and associated technologies.
• Understanding application/integration testing, performance monitoring, and testing strategies to communicate effectively with QA teams.
• Proven ownership and accountability in leading highly visible enterprise and line-of-business programs.
• Client-focused track record, able to interact with internal and external clients.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies is a plus to support process improvements, troubleshooting efficiency, documentation, and operational effectiveness.
