Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a talented POS Analyst for a 06+ months contract in Canton, Massachusetts (Hybrid). The role focuses on payment hardware and software integration, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration across operations and IT.

The candidate will work with Verifone terminals, AI-assisted tooling, and payment processors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and scalable restaurant solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting payment hardware/software.
• Experience with Verifone terminals and VHQ.
• Experience in Hospitality and Payment Domain.
• Familiarity with AI tools (CoPilot) is a plus.
• Technical knowledge of payment integration with POS and Web & Mobile solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud-based technologies.
• 2+ years consulting with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis.
• Understanding of credit card tokenization processes.
• Experience negotiating with payment processors (e.g., Fiserv) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist configuring, deploying, supporting, and improving payment solutions and hardware for Dunkin and Baskin-Robbins brands.
• Document processes and maintain knowledge base updates.
• Review debug logs and datasets; coordinate with vendors to fix issues.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure estate stability during integration pilots.
• Take ownership and respond promptly to issues; act as liaison between teams.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented POS Analyst. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Canton, Massachusetts(Hybrid).

Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• This role may occasionally be responsible for assisting in configuring, deploying, supporting, and improving Payment solution and hardware for Dunkin and Baskin-Robbins brands.
• Assist with technical team documentation, ensuring processes and work arounds are updated and new solutions properly documented, and the knowledge base updated.
• Reviewing debug logs, datasets, and working with vendors to isolate root cause and address a fix as needed.
• Must have great (technical) problem-solving skills, ability to quickly adapt.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience in communicating complex technical terms to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to quickly acknowledge and take ownership of an issue.
• Work as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-starter, ability to perceive and carry out next steps without direction.
• Experience with large scale implementation of applications, infrastructure or databases related to restaurant operations and associated technologies.
• The role may occasionally collaborate and partner with non-traditional business partners on experimental revenue growth.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to help ensure stability across the estate and support timely resolution of escalations especially during integration pilot phases.
• Plans effectively can adapt to priority changes.
• Respond promptly to others to ensure open and timely communication.
• Communicate all issues, status updates, action items, and risks to the management team.
• Support technical efforts with vendors and product teams to complete and enhance integration.
• Strong knowledge of application/integration testing, performance monitoring and testing strategies in order to effectively communicate with QA teams.
• Experience or familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies is a plus, as it can support process improvements, troubleshooting efficiency, documentation, and overall operational effectiveness.
• Proven ownership, execution and delivery accountability experience leading highly visible enterprise and line-of-business programs.
• Track record of being client focused, with ability to interact with both internal and external clients seamlessly.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously in a complex and high-paced environment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Strong Experience working with Verifone payment terminals and tools, such as VHQ, a plus.
• Experience in Hospitality and Payment Domain.
• 3 years+ working experience supporting Payment hardware/software.
• Experience or some kind of familiarity with leveraging/managing AI tools. This role will heavily utilize AI tools like CoPilot.
• Technical knowledge of payment integration with POS and Web & Mobile solutions, Mobile and cloud-based technologies (eg, Azure).
• Familiarity with payment instruments such as credit/debit cards and their rules and regulations, as well as credit card tokenization processes.
• 3 years+ working experience supporting Payment hardware/software.
• 2 years+ working experience consulting with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis, identifying trends, researching and analyzing data, drawing conclusions, resolving issues, interpreting and understanding policies/procedures/laws/regulations.
• Experience working and negotiating with payment processors, such as Fiserv a plus.
• Must have great (technical) problem-solving skills, ability to quickly adapt.
• Understand credit card tokenization processes required.
• Strong Experience working with Verifone payment terminals and tools, such as VHQ, a plus.
