JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a Cost Analysis & Optimization Specialist based in Fontana, Chino, or City of Industry, California. The role pays $70,000–$100,000 USD annually plus an annual performance bonus, with opportunity to impact warehousing, transportation, procurement, and labor costs.

The ideal candidate will analyze cost data, define data governance, and drive cross-functional cost-improvement initiatives across logistics operations, using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor business performance and cost data; identify drivers and opportunities.
• Define cost data definitions, collection, allocation, and accounting processes.
• Conduct in-depth cost analyses of warehousing, transportation, procurement, leases, labor, and consumables.
• Develop cost optimization plans with objectives, milestones, and ownership.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Network Planning, Operations, and Finance to implement initiatives.
• Track results, report savings, and share best practices.

Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure costs are recorded accurately and on time, minimizing timing differences, accounting errors, and historical discrepancies.Cost Analysis for Key Business AreasConduct in-depth analysis of key cost areas, including warehousing, transportation, procurement, leases, labor, and consumables. Combine data analysis with operational insights to identify cost issues, determine root causes, and develop actionable recommendations.Cost Optimization & Improvement InitiativesDevelop targeted cost optimization plans based on identified cost issues. Coordinate cross-functional resources, resolve project issues, and continuously monitor project progress and results.Performance Tracking & Continuous ImprovementEstablish mechanisms to track cost improvement initiatives and evaluate their results. Monitor cost savings and efficiency gains, conduct post-project reviews, document best practices and improvement methodologies, and drive continuous cost optimization across key business areas.About You:Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.Strong data analysis and business acumen, with the ability to identify business issues through data analysis and conduct root-cause analysis.Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from analysis and planning through implementation and measurable results.Knowledge of logistics operating cost structures, particularly warehousing, transportation, procurement, labor, and lease-related costs, is preferred.Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
