Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects.

You will develop a specialization in a domain, orchestrate cross-functional resources, and influence product direction with customer feedback.

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent role.
Proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding.
Expertise in distributed data systems architecture.
Experience with production deployments on public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication translating architectures to business value.
Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment.
Lead complex architecture discussions to design scalable, production-grade solutions.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects and leads.
Drive technical wins by differentiating through custom-built solutions.
Develop and declare an emerging technical specialization (archetype).
Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
