Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects, developing a domain specialization within your team.

You will design scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, coordinate cross-functional resources, and influence product direction through customer feedback.

Competenze

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL — live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns, cloud-native platforms.
• Proficient on the Databricks Platform (or ability to achieve proficiency quickly) with a developing specialization in one area.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders — whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off analysis.
• Experience with production deployments on public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including security and governance.
• Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts.
• Excellent communication skills — translate complex architectures into business value for technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent).
