Databricks is the Data and AI company. You will lead customers through evaluating, architecting, and adopting the Databricks platform, delivering reference architectures and demo applications in collaboration with the sales team.

In this customer-facing role, you will build solutions leveraging Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Koalas, contribute to open-source efforts, and travel to customer sites up to 30%. A strong background in data systems and cloud platforms is required.

Competenze

• 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
• Have built solutions with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in data engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), data warehousing, or data science/ML.

Mansioni

• Provide technical leadership for customers evaluating Data and AI solutions.
• Consult on big data architecture and proof-of-concepts for strategic projects.
• Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo apps.
• Provide escalated support for critical customer issues.
• Evangelize Databricks open-source projects across developer communities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and travel up to 30%.
