Job summary

Databricks is seeking experienced pre-sales professionals for the Travel & Hospitality within Retail SA. You will partner with Account Executives to define technical strategy, drive adoption of Databricks, and lead data-driven transformations across large Retail/CPG accounts.

You will be the main technical voice for up to nine clients, coach teammates, and align Databricks solutions with customer strategies while supporting PoCs and demonstrations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Retail/CPG with large ARR (> $1m).
• 3+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• 3+ years of design/implementation in Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP or full lifecycle data science solutions.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification.

Responsibilities

• You will be the main technical voice for up to 9 clients.
• You will lead customers on a transformational journey to adopt Databricks.
• You will implement the technical strategy in the account.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• You will provide structured mentorship for other team members.
