Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is hiring a Data Acquisition Manager to identify, evaluate, and secure external data sources supporting the Insurance Auto and Home verticals. You will manage data provider relationships, lead commercial negotiations, and collaborate with product, analytics, legal, compliance, finance, and technology teams to onboard data assets responsibly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or risk management required.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Experience with contract negotiations.
• Proven success managing external data and vendor relationships.
• Proven ability to work with multiple functional areas.
• Highly organized in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong research, financial analysis, and business analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
• Understanding of technology and database applications.
• Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple issues concurrently.
• Familiarity with Auto and Home Insurance markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leading identification, evaluation, and acquisition of external data sources to support strategic priorities.
• Identifying new market opportunities and data partnerships for growth.
• Building and managing relationships with data suppliers and coordinating the acquisition lifecycle.
• Partnering with product, analytics, legal, compliance, finance, and technology teams to assess opportunities.
• Driving due diligence, data evaluations, and onboarding to meet requirements.
• Negotiating commercial terms and supporting contract development with legal and stakeholders.
• Overseeing transition of new data assets from evaluation to implementation.
• Monitoring supplier performance and governance, addressing renewals and contract decisions.
• Developing business cases and updates to support prioritization and executive decisions.
• Ensuring all acquisition activities align with internal policies and risk standards.
