Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Data Acquisition Manager to identify, evaluate, and secure external data sources supporting insurance auto and home verticals. Hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA or remote in the US.

You will manage data supplier relationships, lead commercial negotiations, and collaborate with product, analytics, legal, compliance, finance and technology to onboard data assets, ensuring governance and long-term value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or risk management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• Experience with contract negotiations.
• Proven success managing external data and vendor relationships.
• Proven success working with multiple functional areas.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple issues concurrently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation, and acquisition of external data sources supporting strategic priorities.
• Identify new data partnerships to strengthen product differentiation and growth.
• Build and manage relationships with data suppliers; coordinate acquisition lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, legal, compliance, finance, and technology to onboard data assets.
• Drive due diligence, data evaluations, and onboarding to meet requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and assist in contract development with stakeholders.
• Oversee transition of new data assets from evaluation to implementation and handoff.
• Monitor supplier performance and governance; address renewals and decisions.
• Develop clear business cases and status updates for prioritization and decisions.
• Ensure acquisition activities comply with internal policies and regulations.
