Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Data Access Protection Engineering Specialist to oversee global platform infrastructure and advanced integration of data access protection solutions within Cyber.

In this VP-level role, you will design enterprise protection platforms, implement automation to reduce risk, collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Engineering, and deliver secure, compliant data access controls with DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, observability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering, with experience as a technical implementation lead from production to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Data Asset Protection platforms aligned with risk objectives.
• Translate regulatory, audit, and risk requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Engineering to ensure solutions meet control expectations.
• Contribute to architecture and evolution of data protection capabilities (access controls, entitlement governance, policy as code).
• Apply DevSecOps standards including secure coding, CI/CD, observability, resilience, and reliability.
