Morgan Stanley is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Engineer to design secure access to sanctioned AI tools for employees and apps. You will work across AI platform engineering, network security, and developer enablement to enforce policy, monitor performance, and safeguard data.

The role emphasizes integration of AI gateways, SSE/SASE, API management, and service mesh controls with strong IAM and incident response practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience engineering and designing web security and ZTNA platforms in enterprise environments.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement secure access patterns for enterprise AI services behind gateways, proxies and cloud security controls.
• Enable access to sanctioned AI applications while blocking unsanctioned services.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, legal, risk, and app teams to onboard AI use cases in a controlled manner.
• Build traffic-routing, authentication and policy-enforcement mechanisms for user-to-AI and app-to-AI interactions.
• Integrate DLP, data classification, logging, redaction and content inspection into AI traffic flows.
• Optimize latency, throughput and reliability for AI access paths traversing security gateways.
• Develop guardrails for prompt/response inspection, data exfiltration prevention and tenant isolation.
• Document architecture decisions and control evidence for governance.
