Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Technology division seeks a Lead Application Security Engineer at Vice President level to strengthen application security while improving developer experience. The role leads a team of 4+ engineers, designs secure systems, and delivers scalable solutions for secure software delivery.

You will partner with Technology and Cybersecurity to set standards, guide implementation, and maintain integrated security capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience including 7+ years in Application Security.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC standards, SAST, SCA/OSS, DAST, container scanning and security frameworks.
• Experience designing security into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership for a team of 4+ engineers designing secure systems.
• Perform technical analysis and deliver scalable solutions for secure software delivery.
• Partner with Technology and Cybersecurity to define standards and guide implementation.
• Translate security risks and strategies for engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
