Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Danish-English interpreters to provide on-demand audio interpreting through a web-based platform. As an independently contracted interpreter, you will handle inbound calls and facilitate communication for the LEP community in a variety of settings.

LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters! Candidates should be fluent in English and Danish, comfortable with technology, and maintain a quiet, secure interpreting space.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Danish.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.).

As an Internationally based audio interpreter for Danish in LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you are responsible for handling telephone calls on demand and facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings.
