Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Danish-English interpreters to provide on-demand audio interpreting through a web-based platform. As an independently contracted interpreter, you will handle inbound calls and facilitate communication for the LEP community in a variety of settings.

LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters! Candidates should be fluent in English and Danish, comfortable with technology, and maintain a quiet, secure interpreting space.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Danish.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio interpreting through a web based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.
