Job summary

Language Services Associates, Inc. is seeking independent interpreters to provide Dutch? (Note: actual languages are English and German) on-demand audio/video interpretation via a web platform.

You will handle inbound calls and deliver high-quality, confidential interpretation services across settings. Qualified candidates will be fluent in English and German, with experience preferred and space that is quiet and secure for interpretation.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and German.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noise.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.).

As an audio/video interpreter for Germanin LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you are responsible for handling audio and video calls on demand and facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. the company is continuously accepting qualified interpreters!

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
