Job summary

Proviso Township High Schools District 209 is seeking a Dance Assistant to support the Activities and Athletics program at Proviso West High School. This extra-duty, stipend position reports to the Director of Athletics and Activities and the Building Principal or Designee.

The role involves supervising student clubs, coordinating events, ensuring safety and compliance, and promoting inclusive, engaging extracurricular experiences aligned with district policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision for club activities, meetings, events, and trips.
• Ensure off‑campus activities are approved and properly documented.
• Comply with mandated reporting and safety policies.
• Prepare students for participation and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate logistics and promote inclusive, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain meetings, events, and communications with stakeholders.
