Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Supervisor Claims Administration to lead the internal claims collections function and oversee the damage-claim receivable database. The role emphasizes recovery, audits, and process improvements under the Manager Claims, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams across the organization. Hybrid schedule based out of Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five years of multi-line or utility claims adjusting with two years supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil justice system, insurance subrogation, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, under high-stress conditions.
• Proven leadership with experience in coaching, performance reviews and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal claims collections function under the Manager Claims direction.
• Oversee accuracy of the damage-claim receivable database and conduct audits.
• Drive process improvements to maximize recovery and reporting of performance.
• Link frontline claims with collections staff, escalating issues as needed.
• Promote safety and compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Monitor workload to optimize staff utilization and support financial metrics.
