Job summary

Marks, part of Propelis Group, is seeking a Coordinator – DAM in Grand Rapids, MI. This role manages the DAM platform, ensuring asset integrity, discoverability, and governance, while collaborating with Marketing, Creative, Packaging, Production, and Technology teams.

You will ingest assets, apply metadata, maintain taxonomy, and enforce standards. The role supports current needs and future DAM architecture, driving efficiency and reducing risk in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3–5+ years in digital asset management or related.
• Experience administering or supporting DAM platforms.
• Strong metadata, taxonomy, governance, and asset workflows knowledge.
• Knowledge of copyright, licensing, IP, and retention requirements.
• Experience managing large content libraries with searchability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise digital assets and governance docs.
• Ingest assets and apply accurate metadata for discoverability and compliance.
• Maintain asset taxonomy, metadata structures, and naming conventions.
• Enforce DAM content delivery standards (naming, classification, delivery).
• Conduct periodic audits for accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
• Advise stakeholders on asset usage rights, licensing, retention policies, and archives.
• Monitor asset lifecycle including archiving, expiration, and preservation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives.
• Facilitate efficient asset delivery to internal teams, agencies, and partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset workflows and utilization.
• Contribute to DAM technology roadmap and integrations.
• Work with Technology and Operations on enhancements.
