Job summary

Marks, part of the Propelis Group, seeks a Coordinator - DAM in Grand Rapids, MI, hybrid. You will own ingestion, organization, and governance of digital assets, ensuring metadata integrity and asset discoverability across marketing and packaging teams.

Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Production, and Technology to optimize asset workflows, manage lifecycles, licensing, and archiving while helping shape future DAM architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in Digital Asset Management or related discipline.
• Experience administering or supporting DAM platforms such as AEM, Bynder, Acquia DAM, Aprimo, MediaValet.
• Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, asset lifecycles and governance.
• Experience managing large content libraries with searchability and accessibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional influence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise digital assets within a DAM platform.
• Ingest assets from validated sources and apply metadata for discoverability and compliance.
• Maintain taxonomy, metadata structures, naming conventions, and categorization standards.
• Enforce DAM content delivery standards and metadata governance.
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
• Advise on asset usage rights, licensing, retention, and archiving policies.
• Monitor asset lifecycle including archiving, expiration, and preservation.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Packaging, Production and Tech teams.
• Facilitate asset delivery to internal teams, agencies, and partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset workflows and utilization.
• Contribute to DAM roadmap and future integrations and scalability.
