Job summary

Valiant Residential in Dallas is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience. This role requires a 100% in-office schedule, Monday–Friday.

You will source, screen, and interview candidates, partner with hiring managers, coordinate onboarding, and build a strong talent pipeline while advocating for DEI and a smooth new-hire experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or business administration preferred.
• 2+ years' recruitment, onboarding, or related HR experience.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to match candidates with organizational needs and culture.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify job requirements and create compelling job postings.
• Maintain and manage job boards, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment pipelines.
• Coordinate and participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Conduct background checks, verify references, and manage offer processes.
• Design and deliver comprehensive new hire orientation sessions to educate employees about company policies, culture, and values.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules, ensuring new hires are prepared with tools, resources, and training.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and fostering engagement during onboarding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process, including IT setup, HR documentation, and team introductions.
• Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
• Maintain and update employee records in compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through recruitment and onboarding practices.
• Assist with additional HR projects, programs, and events as needed.
