Job summary

RS&H, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Dallas, TX to lead and grow the mechanical engineering practice within a dynamic, client-focused team.

You will balance technical leadership with business development to advance high-visibility projects across aviation, healthcare, federal, and commercial sectors. You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and expand RS&H’s presence in the Dallas/Fort Worth area while collaborating with senior leadership on growth strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
• 10+ years of mechanical/MEP engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility; 12+ preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading mechanical/MEP teams and delivering complex projects.
• Experience with client relationships and business development.

• Lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
• Establish priorities, workflows, and standards for a high-performing group.
• Coach, mentor, and develop project managers and emerging leaders.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance development.
• Expand technical capabilities and market reach with leadership input.
