Job summary

RS&H in Denver seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of complex building projects and deliver innovative mechanical systems. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and drive technical quality from planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
• 7+ years of MEP building design experience.
• Experience designing portions of large, complex projects or managing multiple mid-sized projects.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and reviewing technical work.
• Working knowledge of FBC, IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and related building codes.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience managing or supervising staff.
• Experience with both building and site design.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status due to federal contract requirements.

RS&H is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Buildings team in Denver. In this role, you'll help deliver innovative mechanical systems for projects across aviation, commercial, healthcare, science, corporate, and federal markets while working alongside architects, engineers, and designers in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll take ownership of mechanical design efforts from planning through construction while serving as a technical resource for both clients and project teams.
