The role requires a JD, at least 3 years in traditional labor law, Texas Bar admission, and excellent communication skills. Occasional travel and bilingual ability are a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years of traditional labor law experience focused on management labor relations in Texas.
• Admission to the Texas Bar.
• Strong understanding of current agency enforcement techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and project-management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Occasional business travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Handle unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board.
• Research and write on management labor relations matters.

• Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements.

• Obtain mass picketing injunctions.
• Advise on protected concerted activity and NLRA issues.
• Provide management training on labor relations.
• Counsel management in union work-stop situations.
• Occasionally advise clients on California workplace laws and other assignments.
