Job summary

UFCU is expanding its mortgage services in the Dallas and Houston markets, seeking an MLO who can source loans, build relationships with REALTORS®, builders, and community organizations, and guide Members and non-members through the lending process.

The MLO will support growth across Dallas and Houston by cultivating a sustainable pipeline, staying current on mortgage guidelines, and delivering a member-centric lending experience.

Qualifications

• Build and maintain relationships with REALTORS®, builders, and community organizations.
• Self-source mortgage production through proactive outreach and referrals.
• Stay updated on mortgage guidelines, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide education and personalized loan recommendations to Members and non-members.

Responsibilities

• Source mortgage production through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
• Partner with REALTORS®, builders, and community organizations to grow UFCU’s presence.
• Represent UFCU at Houston community events, homebuyer workshops, and industry gatherings.
• Develop and maintain a sustainable mortgage pipeline in Houston and Dallas markets.
• Collaborate with branch teams and internal partners to support Members and non-members seeking financing.
• Maintain knowledge of current mortgage guidelines and regulatory compliance (RESPA, HMDA).
