Moss, a national construction firm, seeks a Senior Specialist, Events & Community Relations for the Dallas market. You will own the full lifecycle of Dallas-based corporate events, employee recognition, jobsite events, client receptions, and leadership forums from strategy to execution and post-event review.

Formación

• 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in corporate event planning, community relations, marketing operations, or a related function.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing a diverse portfolio of corporate events across varying size, format, and complexity.
• Proven ability to develop and manage event budgets from initial forecasting through final reconciliation, with a strong track record of cost control and vendor negotiation.
• Established experience in community relations, external partnership management, or corporate affairs.
• Strong proactive planning discipline with detailed long-range timelines and risk mitigation.

Responsabilidades

• Own the full lifecycle of Dallas-market corporate events — internal activations, employee recognition events, jobsite events, client receptions, and leadership forums.
• Develop long-range event planning timelines with milestones, vendor deadlines, and approval checkpoints.
• Build and manage event budgets with real-time tracking and post-event reconciliation.
• Serve as primary vendor relationship manager for Dallas events — issuing RFPs, evaluating proposals, and negotiating hotel, venue, AV, catering, and rental contracts.
• Produce post-event recaps and reporting with attendance, budget performance, and lessons learned.
