Job summary

Holmes Murphy in Dallas, TX is seeking a Client Service Consultant for our Employee Benefits team. We offer a forward-thinking culture and opportunities to leverage your expertise in benefits strategy and client management.

The role requires at least 3 years of administrative or customer service experience in insurance brokerage or provider settings, with an active Life & Health license or the ability to obtain one within three months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry ( brokerage or provider ).
• Active state Life & Health Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts and support internal service team.
• Interact with client contacts independently.
• Collaborate with client team to set the benefit strategy for clients and coordinate the implementation of new health and welfare benefit plans.
• Evaluate the client’s current benefits and assist with future recommendations to the client.
• Draft Request for Proposals (RFPs) for review by appropriate sales or service team member, edits, distribute to insurance carriers, ensure timely response, and summarize proposals.
• Prepare materials for presentations and potentially present at open enrollment meetings.
• Communicate daily with insurance companies, vendors and internal teams to ensure proper administration of accounts.
• Follow up on outstanding issues or client requests.
