Cherry Bekaert seeks a Partner to lead its Dallas Fort Worth assurance practice, serving as a market-facing leader for the firm’s audit services to middle‑market clients, including PE-backed portfolio companies. The role builds on a local team, drives growth, ensures high‑quality engagements, and advances talent development across the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license and Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required.
• Substantial experience delivering and leading audit and assurance engagements in a large public accounting firm.
• Proven business development capability and a track record of originating new business and expanding client relationships.
• Experience serving middle‑market commercial clients across multiple industries; PE-backed companies preferred.
• Proven leadership of teams with growth, delivery quality and talent development responsibilities.
• Strong leadership instincts and a commitment to growing others within the practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to advise senior stakeholders and collaborate across service lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, growth and performance of the Assurance practice across Dallas and Fort Worth, aligning goals with firm strategy.
• Drive market growth by expanding services and originating new client relationships.
• Build and sustain a talent pipeline; mentor managers and senior staff toward director/partner paths.
• Oversee delivery of high‑quality audit engagements with technical rigor, risk management and client service excellence.
